Nominated to chaperone Luke and friends to an overnight trip to the State Track meet in Bismarck…Chester and Jerry
Nominated to treat ourselves to an all electronics, all blogging with good treats weekend…MJB and Mom
Nominated as the BEST CEREAL EVER, Fruity Dyno-Bites.
Needed by Luke, biggest bag ever purchased by Mom
Luke still does not believe these are generic Fruity Pebbles; Mom still can’t believe that she bought cereal in a bag which is obviously a mess waiting to happen!
And the winner is…everyone! Great weekend!
7 am!
Lawnmowing trailer repurposed as a stage for Caleb’s band, circle of cars protecting the party, blackstone griddle cooking up breakfast, donuts, bean bags, and Grant walking amongst the crowd during his Thunderstruck guitar solo.
An Epic start to Senior Skip Day!
Spring Orchestra Concert
Caleb and his viola are out…mic drop (and probably celebration by poor Mr. Schultz)
Luke is the least communicative child and perhaps human in the world, and out of the blue, Mom receives this text message. I can’t even.
“Read” and “Red”…so confusing. I can’t even.
Caleb and his band crashed Levi Swenson’s grad party and made it a gig. I can’t even.
They invited fans to the party they were crashing. I can’t even.
Band parents, also not invited to the party, were asked to listen from outside the venue. The venue was a barn. I can’t even.
Chester likes to hammock. I can’t even.
Senior recognition at church for Caleb. I can’t even…GULP.
Senior Scholarship Program at North for Caleb. I can’t even…GULP, GULP.
And then Caleb was the first to be awarded with the Rod Capistran Memorial Scholarship for mathematics.
Gulp. I can’t even.
Work hard. Do a good job. Use your gifts to be your best Caleb!
Today’s FUN and adventures are brought to you by Paul!
Let’s meet at the Paul Bunyan in Akeley MN!
Let’s bike the Paul Bunyan trail!
Oh no, Brynn’s bike got a flat tire on the way to Walker.
No worries, Paul’s bike shop to the rescue!
Not only did Paul fix three of our bikes, but
Paul’s neighbor was giving away a free tomato plant and bike shop Paul had a couple of zip ties Sonja could borrow to secure her new treasure to her bike.
Next, Paul uber-ed us on his bike to the trail heading back to Akeley because he knew a shortcut!
Thanks PaulS for a great day!
I assumed the email “seniorperks” was for Caleb.
Opened the email up and realized, nope it was for Mom!
Sleepless nights for Dad…this hot tub party started at midnight and Dad paced in the bedroom while Mom slept and the boys partied.
Still honest folks in the world.
Caleb’s North Face backpack and school computer are proof!
Caleb’s car “Doris” looks great with bikes on it!
“S” is for Sam and the “S”trawberry cake he requested OR “5” is for the newest 5 year old…you pick!
We splurged on the golf cart pass at the country club! It’s been a wee bit of a hit!
Never say ‘no” to running errands with Deb!
Boom from Luke
This is the good stuff!
