Caleb goes from a 4th grader to a 5th grader!

 

Luke goes from a 3rd grader to a 4th grader!

 

Mark goes from a kindergartner to a 1st grader!

 

Jayne goes from a kindergartner to a 1st grader!

 

  

Brynn goes from a preschooler to pre-kindergartener!

    

I Party, You Party, We ALL Party for Summer!

Dad Cries, Dad Sobs, Dad Wonders about Summer because the family calendar is PACKED with kid events each and every day!!

We are so thankful Dad stayed home to coordinate a great school year (we honestly could not be more proud of how great the year was for all 5 kiddos)!

We are so thankful Dad will be home to coordinate a PACKED FULL OF FUN summer!

Season Pass!

Luke was in charge of the zoo map…we spent 2 hours at the Fargo zoo courtesy of our map reader/leader…uff!  Luke still is unsure of how we missed the meerkats.

Gramma Irma Jayne, was in charge of her purse.  She regretted not leaving it in the car (as her mom and dad suggested) several, several times.  She carried her purse very close to the whole time…bet next time she will leave it in the car!

 

This kind of fun sure wears us out!

Auntie Sharon, from Colorado, surprised Grandpa and Grandma…brought Grandpa to tears!

Caleb and Luke provided entertainment for close to two hours!  20% Caleb, 80% Luke…Caleb’s hands got a little wore out.

 

Uncle Larry had the great idea of a tip jar…Jackpot!!

 

The tip to living happily into your 90’s…good music, good treats, great family and friends…all of which was celebrated today!

See Ya Later Training Wheels

Cross “Teach Jayne to ride bike on two wheels” off the summer to do list!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jayne initially did not want her training wheels off, but within 2 seconds of them being off she was riding like a pro.

She can start by herself, stop by herself, and is already more steady on two wheels than Mark has ever dreamed of being!

She cannot wait to bike to school on Tuesday and tell all of her friends (and everyone else, no doubt)!

 

Another one…going, going, GONE down the bike trail!

Smile…It is your last day of preschool!

  

And, what do you do when it decides to rain on your BIG day?

You grab your umbrella, of course!

 

This little lady is super excited that this year of preschool is over because next year she is going to Gramma’s preschool, and after preschool is over for the day she is going to go to lunch and shopping with Gramma.  Who is going to break the news to Brynn that while preschool is four days a week, lunch and shopping after are not :\

So much fun…the kids are still pumped over their running headbands, medals, race numbers, T-shirts and post race disposable water bottles.  Mark is so glad his wegs were able to carry him to the finish line because he is hoarding ALL of his race paraphernalia in his nightstand.  Mommy magician cannot wait to get her hands on the stash because most of it magically needs to go into the garbage!

When can we sign up for next year?

The newest exhibit at the Fargo Zoo…

features the Longfellow kindergarteners and their chaperones Brynn and Daddy!

Ticket sales have gone up substantially since the addition of this exhibit…who wouldn’t pay to hang out with this fun crew?!*

Crazy Hair for a Great Cause

All week the school raised money for the Carson Glore school.

1$ to participate in popcorn day, sport’s day, class color day, hat or twin day and crazy hair day!

A crazy fun week that we were happy to partake in!

Mother’s Day…

The day when I am treated a step above my normal queen status :)

Caleb, I am so lucky to be your mama (and I am so glad you like my loud cheering at your sporting events because no matter how hard I try, I cannot stop cheering…loudly)!

 

And Brynn, thank you for going with Daddy to get me new earrings.  And thank you for keeping the earrings a secret for close to one minute after the purchase…I am so lucky to be your mama!
