Reason #1: Our skiers and our snowboarder LOVE it!
Despite negative temps, we were on the slopes without ANY complaints for two and a half days.
Caleb on snowboard (a little on the cautious side), Luke on skis (a little on the daring side...tree route, backwards route or jumps route preferred), Mark on skis (First year Mark was more interested in skiing than the gift shop!), Jayne on skis with a harness (Jayne is willing to share her version of her skiing with you if you have a spare 10 minutes…”I go up and down and up and down and turn turn turn and”…you get the picture. Good to also note that Jayne’s skiing story comes with hand actions.) and Brynn also on skis with a harness (Brynn has birdies on her skis and she does not like her birdies to have snow on them so she spent a good deal of time brushing snow off of the birdies. Brynn also asked Mom several times everyday, “What do my birdies say?” The answer was either chirp or tweet and whatever I would guess always seemed wrong :)
Reason #2: Customer Service
Brynn had tucked horsie into bed prior to us leaving for the day.
While away, the maids cleaned up our room and tucked horsie back into bed.
Reason #3: Party!! Even our ski tickets said so!
Reason #4: Thank you!
When Mom was doing one last check of the hotel room prior to checking out,
I stumbled upon this note that Caleb had left in our room.
Thankful are we for a GREAT 2012 and we are looking forward to a GREAT 2013!
