That Moment

That moment when you realize a shortcut was missed, the daylight is ending and you have half the lake to ski around yet!

Everyone (adults included) were troopers when 2 miles became 6 miles today!

  

First Dip

These brave souls took the first dip in the long awaited hot warm tub before the water fully heated! 

90 ish degree water, palm tree on, cannon ball!

The first dip has been followed up with midnight soaks between besties Caleb and Luke,

and Friday night soaks for 7!  Worth.every.penny.  Peace!

We Escaped!

Six Yokoms and Brody escaped Fargo for some ski in, ski out fun at Giants Ridge!

We thought about Montana, but they had no snow.  When Brody heard a much shorter drive he wondered if we would still have to eat sandwiches in the car.  Ha!  He knows how we normally roll, but Jerry was so excited, after being basically home bound since March, that he let us splurge for pizza on the way!

Downhill and XC fun for all! 

Not pictured…Luke who stayed home for a wrestling match, to watch the dogs, and the two week grounding that resulted from his stay at home weekend.  Insert quote highlighting that teenagers are teenagers so we are not sad to see them leave for college!

Gotcha Girl

Nine years ago this ray of sunshine was our Gotcha Girl!

Brynn was bragging so loudly about the fact that Jayne and her get an extra day of celebration than everyone else that Mark is considering publishing an ad!  His demands: amazing Wi-Fi, unlimited data for his cell phone and must celebrate Gotcha days!

Celebrating Jayne is so easy to do as I am not sure there is anyone more genuine than this Gotcha Girl!  We love you and your kind heart Jayne!

Ringing in the New Year

While Dad, Caleb and Luke ski at Giants Ridge, the rest of us are ringing in the New Year with chicken legs, sushi and pop!
