Holding true to tradition, we road our skis and snowboards into the next year!
Bozeman, MT fresh powder for our five!
A great year!
Oh the fun we will have in 2015!

To know Luke is to love Luke. He has been a challenging child to raise since the day he was born.
Imagine the joy we found in the conversation he initiated this week that Elf on the Shelf and Santa have FRAMED him in the last couple of years.
“Remember the year that Santa wrote, I’m watching you, on my DS homescreen, and he wrote Merry Christmas on everyone else’s DS?”
“Remember when the Elf wrote, Undecided, on my locker, and he wrote nice on everyone else’s locker?”
Christmas Eve 2014…
We spoiled Santa with an excessive amount of cutout cookies
and chocolate milk with extra Hershey’s syrup.
And we spoiled the reindeer with ants on a log (heavy on raisin clumps thanks to Jayne).
And in return for spoiling Santa, Santa spoiled us back with an iPad mini for each kid.
Jayne kept saying, “Oh my Gosh” “Oh my Gosh” “Oh my Gosh”
Santa gave Luke a Thumbs Up on his iPad mini homescreen. Luke can read the thumbs up however he chooses :)
It is almost like Santa has framed the Yokom kids to silence for our upcoming skiing road trip to Bozeman, MT…framed to silence with iPads!
Santa is a Genius…Thumbs Up Santa!
Christmas!
Cards mailed; Cards received
Kids quick to tell anyone that will listen that they almost died when we took our Christmas picture. They stood on stools on top of chairs in order for mom’s lens to capture all five heads :)
Church Programs…Go Tell It on the Mountain!
School Programs
Duets by Luke: Feliz Navidad and The Spirit of Hanukkah…as entertaining as it sounds!
Brynn said very clearly, “I want a puppy, a robot puppy.” When she received a robot puppy from Papa and Gramma prior to Santa’s visit, she said, “Looks like I am getting two of these.”
Jayne froze, but rallied to say a robot puppy and a puppy outfit for my doll when Mark showed her the pictures she took posed with her Santa needs on Mom’s phone.
Mark showed his army and spy gear needs via posed phone pictures…zooming in so Santa could get a better look.
Luke told Santa, “I want a black lab puppy and a tablet.”
And Caleb slipped Santa a note, stating, “All of my needs are on the note Santa.”
Poor Santa could not even keep a straight face.
Cookies
We still have a warrant out for the person who nibbled the tip off of the hershey kiss cookie and then replaced it to the cookie tray
Ice Skating
Beautiful temps and no snow…perfect skating weather
It is definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Yokom House!
1st step: Mix the dough
2nd step: Roll and Cut the dough
3rd step: Decorate…with enthusiasm
4th step: Taste Test (even Remi got to enjoy this step as Brynn made a cookie JUST for her)
Last step: Wowie, Wow, WOW!
