We had fun this Christmas break sewing with Gramma!
And sledding with cousins!
Lucky are we to have these fun folks right in our backyard!

Masks on, no eating, short BUT sweet!
Merry Lehr Cousin Christmas…Covid Style
May we never forget the many (many) versions of Jingle Bells on string instruments and Sam (without prompting or suggestion) singing the whole version of “Jesus Loves Me” with his big eyes and little voice under his blue mask!
That night when Melissa asked him why he sang that song, he stated “It is a beautiful song and we were celebrating Jesus’ birthday.”
Christmas was a “Big Dill” for Remi and Chester thanks to their dedicated masters, Jayne and Brynn! PS: the dill pickle already has a hole in it.
No matter our ages, the Christmas magic is in the air and contagious!

Looks like we must have been on the nice list somehow?!*

“How does Santa get a picture of our dogs to make this diamond dot?”
Only Santa would get Brynn the computer she was so hoping for despite Dad and Mom being against another electronic.
Jayne had so many presents that the others accused her of celebrating Hanukkah!
The camping couch/bed from Santa easily fits two and looks super comfy!
The griddle Mom has been hoping for…look out weekends, here comes brunch!
A paint by number of Chester for Jayne!
Conclusion, a cozy and cuddly Christmas and our family has matching Cuddl Dud Jammie pants to prove it!
Our Christmas Eve was top notch due to great fun, great food, great “immediate family” and streaming of a church service where we all got to partake in Uncle Bob’s version of Joy to the World with baritone echoes for each stanza!
Deconstructed gingerbread house by Brody and Mark
Luke attempted (and failed) to recreate a house exactly like was on the box. In fact, he is certain the picture on the box is photo-shopped.
Not sure how, but the three littlest ones had great success and fun AFTER Sam clarified there was no eggs in the frosting. He had learned in school that you cannot eat the frosting if it has raw eggs in it! So many rules at that preschool!
Joy to our house, these houses and the world!
Quarantine has allowed us to realize how much fun we can have with the doggos!
Chester was moving so fast with his “treasure” that he is a blur! Thankfully, no elf was touched in this incident! Dad tickled Chester to have him release elf. The next day elf was found in a higher location (strategy) with a notepad that read, “Naughty list: Chester.”
