That’s a Noodle

Five years ago today we fell head over heels in love…

 

Brynn, you were a beauty five years ago and you are still a beauty today!

Of course, you are a wee bit more of an opinionated fashionista today…

“I would like Ramen noodles for my Gotcha Day lunch.”

“I would like Chinese noodles for my Gotcha Day supper.”

Brynn, you came swinging into our lives five years ago.  To say we are thankful, blessed, head over heels…all just do not seem to do justice for how happy you make our whole family’s hearts.  You are our sunshine sweet Brynn, and that’s a wrap noodle!

Memo

Caleb wrapped up his basketball season this weekend in Grand Forks.

Four Winds clearly did not get the memo that the tourney was for 12 year olds?!*

New Memo: Put away the high tops, get out the baseball cleats.

Slumber Party!

Gramma and Papa treated us to pizza and swimming at a hotel this weekend!

After swimming, Gramma slumbered with 7 of her closest friends!

 

A slumber party we will talk about for a very long time!

Lasagna…Ugh

“What do you want for your birthday supper Luke?”

“Lasagna”

Ok…Mom doesn’t make lasagna very often, but if the birthday boy wants lasagna, he gets lasagna.

When Luke sat down to his birthday meal, he hit his head and said, “Ugh…I meant ravioli.  I always get lasagna and ravioli mixed up.”

The next day, Luke treated his class to pizza, chips and pop in honor of his birthday!

No mix up with this menu…the pizza was a hit!

Luke you are 11 today!

You see no grey…you only see black and white.  You hear a different beat to the drum then most.  Stubborn…that’s you.

But guess what, we would whip you up a lasagna any day of the week!  We wouldn’t mix up the real you for anything!

Keep on marching to that Luke drum buddy!  We love you just the way you are!

Easter Is Magical

The tennis balls and badminton birdies in our baskets were accompanied by a new net and new rackets which we discovered when we threw on our cowboy boots and headed outside! 

 

And in the end, Jayne declared, “Easter is Magical.”
