The Yokom Olympians
Fresh powder and warm temps…GO Team Yokom USA!
Caleb channeled Shaun White practicing his 180’s off of the jumps.
Luke channeled Bode Miller often skiing on one ski or backwards.
Mark and Jayne channeled Ted Ligety and Mikaela Shiffrin often getting to the bottom of the hill before Mom (their chaperone) had made it off the chair lift.
Brynn channeled Gracie Gold…yep, she forgets to think about skiing, the task at hand, and that is why she remains on the harnass!

Super and Superior
Luke’s piano solo pieces were SUPER today at NDSU Music Festival, and he was rewarded with SUPERIOR scores for his Jazzy and Monday Mornin’ Blues pieces!

Practice Makes Perfect
We enjoyed the pre-festival piano concert at Sheyenne Crossings today!
Luke has two pieces he will play at festival next week…PERFECT!
Mark and Caleb chose not to play at festival, but crashed the pre-festival piano concert because we were hoping Great Grandpa and Great Grandma would be able to be at the concert. Unfortunately, Great Grandma is rehabbing at a nursing home after a short stay in the hospital earlier this week :(
No worries though, all of the Greats friends were in attendance and are sure to tell them how talented their great grandsons are!
Mark’s first concert…PERFECT! (he was so nervous followed by so proud)!
Caleb…PERFECT also!
